Fashion Design Intern

Whereitz.com is a Chennai-based retail discovery platform helping customers explore and connect with local fashion and lifestyle stores. With 10,000+ stores listed, our mission is to bring local retail online with a modern, trendy, and customer-friendly digital identity.
Role Overview
We are looking for passionate Fashion Design Interns who can bring creativity and market awareness to our platform. The intern will work closely with our team to research trends, curate styles, and create fashion-focused content that enhances both brand identity and store identity on Whereitz.com.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct trend research to identify the latest fashion movements in Chennai and beyond
- Organize and manage product categorization for local store collections (ethnic, western, fusion, streetwear, etc.)
- Perform style curation by creating lookbooks, outfit pairings, and festival/seasonal collections
- Develop fashion-oriented content for blogs, social media, and marketing campaigns
- Contribute ideas to strengthen Whereitz's trendy brand identity
- Collaborate with store owners to suggest trendy store identity improvements
Who Can Apply
- Students or recent graduates in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology, Textile Design, or related fields
- Strong interest in fashion trends, styling, and retail
- Creative mindset with attention to detail in aesthetics and design
- Good communication skills (English/Tamil preferred)
